Bitless or bitted? shoes or barefoot?
Everything depends on your horse and what you use him for! If your horse has good black hard feet and you are only ridding in a plowed arena, going without shoes shouldn't be a problem unless you have a horse with tender feet. And the bit also depends on your horse, depending on the softness and training of your horse dictates what you use. And the grass thing I thing it is best all around for your horse to get both (not at the same time) but turn them out to pasture for certain times of the year, and then during the winter feed hay. Because both hat and grass have certain nutrients that horses need!! hope I helped!
