In Michigan they want me to work for free for two weeks before making training wage for 90 days, illegal?

Unless it is a school-sponsored internship, then it certainly is illegal. I can't imagine Subway offering internships or why on earth you would want one. You should contact your state Department of Labor and ask them about this Subway manager. There is NOTHING legal about this arrangement.
