If I use a song in my writing a book, and plan to publish it, does the band have to be payed?

I am writing a book that is very near finished and to enhance one of the love scenes i used the song Last Night by AZ Yet. The scene does not need the song but i think it adds to it. If the book gets published does the band have to be compensated. Also in another scene, to make a point and a connection, i used some lyrics from Celine Dion's Because You Loved Me. Will She have to be compensated as well. Are there legal issues if it gets published. I want it to be. But idk what to do.
