TRUE GRIT... what did you think of this film?

I just saw true grit and I thought it was absolutely brilliant... loved all of it.. the ending was a bit of a shame... wish the woman didn't lose her arm, wish marshall didn't die... and I was hoping that the girl would marry lebeef(damon) when she grew up.. also very sad that her horsey died :( but anyhoo what are your views on the film???
